# GA Duties
## Core Duties
1. Maintain percussion instrument inventory, including repairs, part replacements, and room upkeep across the Percussion Complex, practice rooms, and BMC percussion storage
2. Coordinate/Assist with all instrument logistics for School of Music large ensembles, Percussion Ensembles, visiting ensembles, concerts, recitals, juries, and auditions
3. Assist Guest Artists with materials, transportation, and other needs when applicable
4. Maintain Cook Percussion Library—checkout/return of materials, filing, and end-of-semester collection of lesson sheets and scores
5. Assist with Percussion Methods (Spring only) classes and coaching Percussion Ensembles
## Ongoing Duties
7. Coordinate/schedule weekly undergraduate cleanup rotations
8. Maintaining and auditing studio event calendar for upcoming event communications
9. Serve as liaison between students and percussion faculty, communicating suggestions, issues, and concerns
10. Perform additional duties as assigned by percussion faculty, including ensemble participation as needed
_GAs are required to be on campus and available one week prior to and one week following each semester (through commencement)._
