# PTI Duties and Expectations PTI Duties and Expectations are not thoroughly enumerated by the Percussion Area, as Part-Time Instructors all have different class assignments and duties/obligations relative to those assignments. Typically the PTIs who are also Percussion Graduate Students, are assigned to History of Rock and thus assigned duties by the [[1.3 Faculty and Staff#Affiliated Faculty|Rock History Coordinator]]. ## General Expectations There are some general expectations for PTIs. 1. All PTIs must complete the necessary trainings such as Cybersecurity, FERPA, Confidential Records, Title IX, and so on. 2. All PTIs must be available and/or report as directed to campus for trainings, meetings, and other work **one week prior to the beginning of classses**. 3. All PTIs must be available and/or report as directed to campus **one week after the conclusion of classes**.
